TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIPS

US Department of Energy

Campbell Applied Physics has developed extensive and valuable relationships with several of the US DOE laboratories as outlined below. These relationships effectively provide CAP with a valuable US government funded R&D resource for technology commercialization and exclusive IP rights to the resulting technology and systems.

Pacific Northwest National Laboratories

The Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Laboratories has entered into a $2 million Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Campbell Applied Physics and is contributing US $1 million towards the commercialization of the Plasma Chemical Reactor technology. Campbell Applied Physics achieved this preferred position due to its previously successful co- operative work with the Department.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory

As part of Campbell Applied Physics Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy, CAP has been invited to participate with Oak Ridge National Laboratory in addressing new techniques for treating Coal Bed Methane Produced Water.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is one of the world's premier applied science laboratories focused on non-proliferation of nuclear armament, homeland security, biology, energy, and environmental science. LLNL is managed by the University of California for the U.S. Department of Energy and has annual funding of approximately $1.7 billion and a staff of more than 8,000 personnel. LLNL has issued a Co-operative Research and Development Agreement to CAP for the integration of CAP's ozone pretreatment with its advanced capacitive dialysis water treatment technology and is supplying CAP with advanced capacitive dialysis reactors. CAP will have exclusive rights to the developed technology.
